Cyclist poleaxed after hurtling downhill towards gate and crashing into it

A luckless cyclist was poleaxed after failing to spot a bright yellow barrier as he zoomed down a hill in Sheffield. It is not the first time it has happened, but the barrier is now a bright hue to make it more visible. In 2023, three people - two on bikes and one on an electric scooter - suffered similar fates.
