Former sorority rush chair turned senator discusses social media recruitment
The youngest woman ever elected to the United States Senate got her start in leadership during her time as a student at the University of Alabama, holding top positions in her sorority and in student government. Republican Senator Katie Boyd Britt told Katie Miller, a former DOGE staffer and past communications lead for Vice President Mike Pence on her eponymous podcast, that she played a key role in the University of Alabama sorority rush process as rush chair.
