Near-miss for elderly woman walking with her back to traffic on a blind bend

This is the moment a taxi driver is forced to bring his car to an abrupt halt after he approached a blind bend, unaware of an elderly woman walking on the road ahead.The woman was on the same side of the road near Weymouth, with her back to oncoming traffic, and as the dahscam video shows, was only visible to Mr Hillier when she was just a few yards away.
