Buffalo Bills player Khalil Shakir saves 19 dogs from being killed at shelter

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir is being celebrated after stepping in to save 19 dogs from being euthanized at an overcrowded kill shelter in Clarke County. Shakir was filmed smiling and playing with the rescue pups as they arrived at Nickel City Canine Rescue in Buffalo, where they'll now have the chance at new lives.
