An emergency alert system which hit millions of phones across the UK has been ridiculed by Britons for being late. Despite health and privacy concerns, mobiles connected to 4G and 5G networks throughout Britain blared a siren-like alarm, vibrated and displayed a warning message for 10 seconds.
