A TikToker was left baffled by how many things in Wroxham are branded 'Roys'. Roys of Wroxham is a family-run department store founded in 1895. Over the decades, it expanded so much within the village that it earned the nickname 'the world's largest village store'. Today, the company operates 12 stores across Norfolk and Suffolk, with five of them located in the Wroxham/Hoveton area alone.
