Donald Trump claims he blocked Mayor of London Sadiq Khan from state visit

Donald Trump has stoked his bitter feud with Sadiq Khan by claiming he blocked him from being part of the State Visit. The US President goaded that the London mayor had 'wanted' to attend the opulent Royal banquet at Windsor Castle, which featured a host of senior politicians. But speaking on Air Force One as he returned to America, Mr Trump said he had vetoed the idea. However, a source close to Sir Sadiq insisted he had never sought an invite to the banquet.
