Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie pay visit to historic Japanese temple

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh have paid a visit to the serene Soji-in Temple, a traditional Buddhist temple that dates back to the 12th century, as part of their four-day tour of Japan . Sophie, 60, and Prince Edward , 61, met with the Mayor of Koya Town Yoshiya and Wakayama Governor Izumi Miyazaki, as well as Head Priest Eimyo Miyata, during their visit to the historic temple on Sunday, September 21, the third day of their trip.
