Footage captures moment 'arsonist sets mosque on fire' in hate crime attack

Police say they are treating a late-night blaze damaging a mosque as a hate crime - with footage capturing the moment a suspected arsonist started the fire. The front entrance to the mosque in Peaceheaven in East Sussex - six miles east along the coast from Brighton - was damaged along with a vehicle parked outside. Police confirmed the incident, in which no one was injured, was being treated as a hate crime. Video appeared to show a man in a black jacket at the entrance to the Peacehaven mosque seconds before the flames erupted.
