The Israeli government has approved a ceasefire and hostage deal with Hamas, just days after the two-year anniversary of the October 7 massacre. Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced on Thursday that it had given its final approval to back the agreement after 734 days of war. The Israeli Prime Minister's office said in a statement: 'The government has just now approved the framework for the release of all of the hostages - the living and the deceased.'
