Woman acquitted of attempted murder after driving car into partner's ex-wife

This is the moment a woman caught in a love triangle allegedly tried to murder her partner's ex-wife by hitting her with her car after she called her a 'homewrecker'. Lucy Povey deliberately drove her car into Sharon Dorkin and two others in a 'shocking act of violence', a court heard. Mrs Dorkin told the court that she had recently separated from her husband Lee Dorkin when she 'heard rumours that he was messing about with Lucy Povey'. Mrs Dorkin - who suffered a fractured knee - said Povey was her ex-husband's 'new tart'.
