Kate and Prince William kick off surprise visit to Northern Ireland

The Prince and Princess of Wales rode in a fire truck and watched trainee firefighters taking part in drills as they began a day-long surprise visit to Northern Ireland on Tuesday. Prince William and Kate, both 43, watched as emergency workers simulated rescuing a casualty from a fast-flowing river and toured a warehouse space where others practised high rise rope and ladder rescues and tested breathing apparatus.
