The Inbetweeners follows socially awkward friends through their adolescence
It's known and loved by its fans for its outrageous and cringe-worthy moments, but that doesn't mean Channel 4's hit sitcom The Inbetweeners doesn't raise eyebrows too. The series, which launched in 2008, followed socially awkward pals Will, Jay, Simon, and Neil navigating adolescence through a series of hilarious situations. Packed with relatable teenage experiences, the three seasons, two follow-up films, and two reunion specials drew in millions of viewers. Since it last aired in 2010, with its final movie hitting the big screen in 2014 and a brief reunion in 2019, fans have been desperately calling for more, despite the stars (Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley, and Blake Harrison) now being far removed from the age of their teenage characters.
