Grandfather involved in Rotherham asylum riots 'killed himself' in prison

A 61-year-old grandfather, Peter Lynch, was found dead in his cell at HMP Moorland just hours after receiving disciplinary papers. He had been jailed for over two years for his role in rioting outside a Rotherham hotel housing asylum seekers. A new inquest has ruled that he died by suicide.
