Repair Shop fans left 'sobbing' as elderly man breaks down in tears

The Repair Shop fans were left overcome with emotion watching an elderly guest break down in tears as he shared the story before a treasured family heirloom. John Wiltshire, a former coal miner from North Wales, brought a working replica of a Welsh coal mine crafted by his grandfather over a century ago to the BBC programme. The masterpiece, which was fully functional and had been on show at a local mining museum that John operates - had stopped working after a botched repair. He met with expert Steve Fletcher, who was given the task of putting the missing components back together in order to get the scale model working again.
