Police arrest ringleader for torching a Ukraine-linked warehouse in UK

Six British men betrayed their country for 'easy money' after they were recruited online for a campaign of arson and kidnap, conducted on behalf of Russia's Wagner mercenaries, a judge has said. Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb jailed six men for a total of more than 65 years at the Old Bailey. The ring-leader, Dylan Earl, 21, from Elmesthorpe, Leicestershire, was jailed for 17 years. The men were recruited by an automated Russian chatbot trawling for recruits on the encrypted Telegram app before the communication was taken over by Russian intelligence operatives, according to security sources.
