Man who set house on fire charged with killing girlfriend and their newborn son

The mayor of Buffalo and the Erie County DA spoke out about the murder of Kathleen Carrig and her infant son. Her boyfriend, and the father of the child, Kidane Haile, was charged with second-degree murder. The officials announced that they believe Haile strangled Carrig before starting the fire.
