Shocking aftermath as a driver ploughs into pedestrians on French holiday island

These are the shocking scenes after a driver smashed into pedestrians leaving five people injured on the French island of Oléron. At around 8:45am a man 'deliberately' drove into 'everyone he encountered'. Sources say that the attacker hit pedestrians across a several mile stretch of the island.
