Capital Radio presenter on her horror battle with sepsis after mastitis turned deadly after giving birth
Capital Radio presenter Aimee Vivian has opened up on her horror battle with sepsis after mastitis turned deadly weeks after she gave birth. The radio DJ, who welcomed her daughter Charli earlier this year, joined Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard on This Morning to reveal how she was left fighting for her life after ignoring an issue with her breasts. Aimee, 34, was hospitalised with the serious illness in July less than a month after giving birth to her first child, after she was left 'convulsing'. While the star had first noticed there was something wrong with her breasts, that were 'painful' and 'solid' after starting breastfeeding her little one, things took a serious turn when it was discovered she had developed sepsis. Aimee told Cat, 49, and Ben, 50, of her blissful first experience of motherhood: 'It was as good as it could be, the birth was brilliant, it was amazing.'
