Mum left homeless after their home was set ablaze accidentally by a kitten

A family has been left homeless in the run-up to Christmas after their kitten knocked over a tealight engulfing their home in an inferno. Niamh Cowie, 31, was on running errands when she received a phone call that would transform her day into one of the worst of her life. Her neighbour frantically called to inform the mother-of-two that her flat with many treasured memories was billowing with smoke.
