Lodgers at Wyre Country Park claim they were misled when buying new homes

Two holiday lodges mysteriously burned to the ground within an hour of each other after the occupants complained about their gypsy site owner on Panorama. Mike Chesworth and Alison Porter-Garroch bought homes in Wyre Country Park, Lancashire for tens of thousands of pounds in 2020 and 2018 respectively. But several issues arose from March 2023 onwards after David Welch, who runs the resort, was ordered to pay legal costs over a dispute with a lodger.
