Footage released on Saturday by NATO shows a frigate sinking after a NATO submarine fired at it with a torpedo during a military exercise. According to a social media post by the NATO Allied Joint Force Command Norfolk, which was written to accompany the video, the exercise - known as Aegir 25 - was carried out to 'verify and demonstrate the striking power that the weapon and submarine represent'.
