Volodymyr Zelensky commemorates the victims of Holodomor at Kyiv memorial

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and First Lady Olena Zelenska commemorated victims of the Holodomor, a Soviet-era famine that killed millions of Ukrainian people in the winter of 1932-1933. Zelenskiy, his wife and senior officials laid symbolic bunches of wheat to symbolise a 'bitter memory of childhood.'
