A secret recording at a ‘free-range’ farm in Norfolk shows a farm worker ‘beating an injured pig with a metal pole’. The firm, which supplies Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrisons, Co-op, Aldi and Lidl is facing trial over a string of animal cruelty offences. Harford Farm which is part of the Norfolk Free Range group was granted the prestigious RSPCA Assured certification just weeks after these shocking scenes were captured.
