The Budget descended deeper into complete and utter shambles today as Rachel Reeves' huge tax raid was leaked before she even stood up.In an unprecedented blunder, the OBR released its assessment of the Chancellor's plans half an hour before the dramatic set-piece was due to start.The documents lay out that tax is due to rise by £30billion by 2030-32 - with thresholds frozen for another three years. Around a quarter of the working population will be paying higher or top rate tax by then.The extraordinary leak came just minutes after Ms Reeves brandished her red box outside 11 Downing Street.Images from the Commons appear to show the moment she was handed a phone by minister Torsten Bell, informing her of the development.When she finally rose to speak, the Chancellor threw the blame entirely on the watchdog saying it was 'deeply disappointing and a serious error on their part'.
