1984: Jude Law on Breakfast Time to review 101 Dalmatians with Fern Britton

Fern Britton has joked she 'would have waited' for Jude Law had she known he would grow up to be 'so handsome' after interviewing him as a child. The TV presenter, 68, interviewed the actor, now 52, in 1984 when he was just 11-years-old before he shot to stardom age 27 in The Talented Mr Ripley. The articulate young boy was invited onto the Breakfast Time sofa to review some of the half term cinema releases during a segment with Fern. Fern told Jude he would 'make a good film reviewer', not knowing he would go on to become one of the biggest names in Hollywood years later. After the clip resurfaced on Instagram this week, Fern reflected on what she  would have done differently had she known about Jude's future success. Underneath the clip, she wrote: 'Blimey! The little rotter didn't tell me he was going to be very famous and handsome. If he had I'd of waited for him.'
