⏱ 0:48 🌐 dailymail.com

A danger-to-life warning has been issued as Storm Bram is set to bring gale-force winds, 'two weeks' worth of rain and flooding chaos to the UK today. Parts of Britain will be battered by 90mph winds, with yellow warnings for wind and rain in place until Wednesday. Families across the country are bracing themselves for wild weather with alerts in place in Devon, Cornwall and South Wales, where businesses have been warned that homes and buildings are 'likely to be flooded' with up to four inches of rain. This could cause chaos in areas that have already faced heavy rain throughout autumn and early winter with downpours that could amount to more than half the average monthly rainfall in December. The wind and rain could cause travel disruption on trains, buses and ferry services across the country.
