Thinnest dog ever seen by RSPCA finds forever home for Christmas. Peanut, a three-year-old lurcher, weighed just 12kg (26.5lb) - about half the weight she should have been - and was so emaciated she couldn't even stand or lift her own head. Incredibly, Peanut has made a full recovery after being nursed back to health by RSPCA staff and will now spend her first Christmas in her new home after being adopted.
