EMMA GRITT: Grandparents at increased risk of catching 'superflu' ahead of Christmas

Thousands of people have been struck down by it since our flu season started in October, and maybe even you, or someone you know, love or work with has it right now. But where are all these infections coming from? According to data released by the UKHSA yesterday, it's children aged between five and 14-years-old that are driving the surge in cases. They had the highest positivity rates at 45.9 per cent, and increase from 43.6 per cent last week.With Christmas less than a fortnight away, there are serious concerns that the super spreader age group will infect their elderly relatives between now and the New Year.
