9-year-old schoolgirl found dead in a house in Somerset

Aria Thorpe, who had celebrated her ninth birthday just two weeks ago with a Kpop Demon Hunters party, was found dead at a property in Weston-super-Mare just after 6pm on Monday. A teenage boy was later arrested outside Worle rail station, less than half a mile from the scene, and held on suspicion of murdering Aria. Aria was described today as a 'lovely little girl' who loved dressing up, having her hair styled and wearing make up.
