Instant karma for 'watch thief' as his attempt to steal the timepiece is thwarted

A suspected watch thief was heroically thwarted by his victim and a passerby on a posh Londonstreet moments after he attempted to steal the expensive timepiece. The alleged thief was chased down after trying to rob a man of his watch in Margaret Street between Marylebone and Fitzrovia, where the average property price on the road is £2million. The victim was aided by a witness to the attempted robbery, as the pair were able to get the watch back during a melee after tracking the man down. Footage shows the man being surrounded by several people and pushed against a gate after attempting to escape on foot down the road. However, the suspected watch thief managed to escape the area following the incident at around 3pm on December 14.
