Brave shopkeeper wields shovel to stop crook trying to steal cash register

CCTV shows a brave shopkeeper fighting back after a hooded thief tried to steal the till. The thief poured a reddish liquid from a green jerrycan behind the counter and tried to grab the cash register, which fell to the floor. A scuffle broke out, but the shopkeeper grabbed a shovel to stop him. Another man soon arrived to help confront the robber.
