Quick-thinking Walmart employee helps cop disarm shoplifting suspect

Shane Newman and Katarina Jeffrey were suspected of shoplifting at a Canton, Ohio Walmart. The pair were taken to a room and were speaking with a cop about the alleged incident. The police officer turned around to do something and in that moment, Newman, 21, pulled a gun. Luckily, the gun didn't fire and a courageous Walmart employee dove in and helped wrestle the gun out of Newman's hands, allowing the cop to intervene. In an eery coincidence, a radio message can be heard saying Newman was 'armed and dangerous' right before the attempted shooting.
