Tourist cheats death when she is smashed onto the rocks while posing for a photo

A tourist cheated death after being smashed into rocks by a wave while posing for a photograph on a dangerous ledge at an Egyptian coastal attraction. The woman, from China, was visiting the Matrouh Eye scenic area in the city of Mersa Matruh, when the terrifying incident took place. Footage of the moment shows the woman in an orange summer dress sitting on the corner of a ledge near the water as a wave rises behind her. The foamy wave can then be seen crashing towards her, and eventually over her, as it knocks her down and drags her into the open sea. Following the ordeal, she told local media that she suffered multiple abrasions to her body and described the experience as 'very frightening'. She said that she was lucky not to be seriously injured and would be more cautious when travelling in the future.
