President Lula joins thousands paying their respects to Pele at stadium funeral

Brazil 's president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva paid his respects at Pele's open casket as one of his first actions as the country's new head of state. The Brazilian football star died on December 29 at the age of 82 after a long battle with cancer.
