'Not a surprise,' Analyst weighs in on Google layoffs

Google's parent Alphabet Inc is cutting about 12,000 jobs, or 6% of its workforce. Joseph Bonner, Securities Analyst at Argus Research, said that the cost cuts were inevitable after over hiring during the pandemic.
