American tourist vandalises a statue of Jesus on the historic Via Dolorosa

The suspect, who is in his forties, has damaged a statue of Jesus on the historic Via Dolorosa, a processional route representing the path Jesus took to his crucifixion. Guards detained him until the police arrived.
