Met Office: Temperatures plunge under zero as nation is hit by frost and fog

Met Office warned that temperatures would plunge to bone-chilling -3C as nation is hit by widespread frost and freezing fog. This is due to a sub-zero blast hitting the mid and southern part of the UK. The Met warned of this chilly start of the week.
