Canada confirms US fighter jet has shot down unidentified object

The defense minister for Canada, Anita Anand, has confirmed that a US fighter jet assigned to NORAD has shot down an unidentified object over Yukon, barely a week after a Chinese spy balloon was downed off the coast of South Carolina.
