AI history has been made as it's used to successfully pilot a fighter jet

A modified F-16 fighter jet has successfully flown while being entirely controlled by artificial intelligence (AI). flights took place at the Edwards Air Force Base in the US, and showed that it is possible to hand over the reigns to AI in battle.
