Village in Cumbria freezes as strong winds and snow showers hit overnight

Britain is set for further wintry weather with more snow and ice warnings in place and the threat of flooding before temperatures drop to -12C. The Environment Agency has issued 64 flood alerts and seven more-serious flood warnings across England.
