Egyptian hitchhiker en route to South Africa is left stranded in Khartoum, Sudan

An Egyptian hitchhiker on a trip from Egypt to South Africa said she expected to face trouble as she crossed the African continent, but did not foresee heavy fighting in the Sudanese capital that would interrupt her plan just months into her trip.
