Emergency alert test to be sent to phones across the UK at 3 pm Sunday afternoon

An emergency test message will be sent to all mobile phones across the UK this Sunday 23 of April at 3 pm in the afternoon. Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden has explained this is only a test and future alerts, if any, will be a genuine emergency.
