Murder probe as dog owner found dead after burglars steal labradoodle

A stolen labradoodle snatched by dognappers during a deadly burglary was taken to a pet grooming salon hours after thieves broke into its owner's home and murdered him. Father-of-three Donald 'Prentice' Patience was found dead in his home.
