Israeli Defence Force says Hamas 'actively stopping' people from leaving Gaza

The Israeli military on Sunday said Hamas was 'actively stopping' people from leaving northern Gaza and that it was making 'vile use' of its civilians, as Israeli troops prepared for a ground assault on the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
