Trail of destruction after days of relentless bombing leaves Gaza in ruins

Airstrikes up and down the length of the Strip, one of the most densely populated areas on earth, artillery barrages and tank shells streaked through the gathering gloom, have resulted in a wave of destruction that has left Gaza as a city in ruins.
