Storm Franklin: Old footbridge over River Aire destroyed by floating pontoon

An old footbridge near Armley Mills was destroyed by floating pontoon as the River Aire was in spate, following the arrival of Storm Franklin. The centre section of the bridge is seen crashing into the river and is carried off downstream.
