Tanks destroyed in Kyiv after Russia suffers heavy battlefield defeats

Russia has suffered battlefield defeats to the east of Kyiv and in the south of Ukraine as the country's armed forces press the attack after a month of dogged defending - though the situation in Mariupol looks increasingly bleak.
