Moment careless motorist caught by police after driving through a red light

Dashcam footage captured by Shaun Ballinger shows a line of cars stopping at a red light in Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton, on April 12. In the left-hand lane an unthinking driver in a white Mercedes zooms past and drives straight through the red light.
