Local elections 2022: Labour takes Barnet for first time since 1964

Conservatives suffered their second loss in London as Labour took Barnet Council on the local elections. Barnet Conservative leader Daniel Thomas said Labour's victory 'does not bode well' for the Tories ahead of the next general election.
